The Food and Drug Administration is currently reviewing an Actos combination drug and the decision on it has been delayed due to the claims that Actos is linked to the development of bladder cancer.
Actos, made by Japanese drug maker Takeda Pharmaceuticals, was said to be the safe option for diabetes medication because it does not increase the risk of stroke.
Recently, lawsuits have been filed claiming that Actos has been linked to the development of bladder cancer if taken for over a year. It was approved by the FDA in 1999, but is now being reviewed.
If you or a loved one has been taking Actos and have developed bladder cancer as a result, you need experienced representation on your side. Contact the Actos lawsuit lawyers of Williams Kherkher by calling 800-641-9810.
