The 83-year-old singer most famously known for the hit song, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” has been diagnosed with bladder cancer.
Andy Williams made the announcement while performing in Branson, Missouri. His positive attitude was hard to miss when he made numerous statements revealing he was going to be one of those people who beat cancer.
The Christmas singer will not be able to make holiday appearances this season due to the cancer diagnosis. He will begin chemotherapy and may have to have his bladder removed. He is hopeful to return to stage in 2012 to entertain his devoted fans.
