John T. Boundas
John graduated first in his class from the University of Iowa College of Law. He was licensed to practice in Texas in 1995 and received the second highest score statewide on the Texas State Bar examination that year.
Following law school, he interned at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and was recognized by the Department of Justice for “outstanding” performance. From 1995-1996, he clerked for the Hon. Milton I. Shadur of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago.
John joined the litigation section of Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. in 1996, where he worked on many different types of litigation matters including securities, antitrust, trademark, breach of contract and personal injury litigation. He joined Williams Kherkher Law Firm, L.L.P. in 2001 and has represented clients in a variety of personal injury cases. Most recently, he has represented numerous individuals injured by the prescription drugs fen-phen and Vioxx.
John has tried jury trials in Texas, California, Louisiana and Pennsylvania courts. He has also handled appeals, including arguing at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. In addition, he has done significant pro bono work, trying three civil rights cases in Federal District Court in Houston, Texas.
He currently focuses his practice on representing individuals in complex mass tort cases.
John is a cancer survivor.
Sejal K. Brahmbhatt
Sejal K. Brahmbhatt graduated from the University of Houston in 1996 with a double-major in Political Science and Psychology. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law in 2000 and eventually joined Williams Kherkher in 2003.
Prior to joining the firm, Sejal gained valuable experience through internships with the American Civil Liberties Union and the Child Support Division of the Texas Attorney General’s office, as well as clerking for the Harris County Attorney’s Office.
Sejal is a member of the American Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
At Williams Kherkher, Sejal focuses on pharmaceutical litigation, labor and employment law, and personal injury claims. She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas, The US District Court of the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, and in the State of Pennsylvania.
David W. Alexander
After graduating from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and receiving his Doctor of Philosophy from North Carolina State University, David W. Alexander worked for 25 years as a plant manufacturing manager, executive, and chemical engineer before becoming an attorney.
He joined Williams Kherkher as a law clerk in 1999 while in law school at the South Texas College of Law. After receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law in 2000 and a Master of Law, Intellectual Property and Information Law from the University of Houston in 2010, he joined the firm as an attorney.
During his time at Williams Kherkher, Mr. Alexander has focused on commercial law and pharmaceutical litigation. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and Virginia and is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is licensed to practice in Texas, Virginia Commonwealth Courts, the US District Court of the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
